Description

Sound, Stillness & Integration Mini Retreat

A 2.5-hour embodied mini retreat offering space to slow down, settle, and reconnect with a sense of grounding and support.

Reset & Root is the first retreat in the monthly Sound, Stillness & Integration series. This session focuses on nervous system regulation, embodiment, and the felt experience of stability—creating conditions for awareness to return gently to the body and the present moment.

This is not a workshop, ceremony, or healing session. There is nothing to fix, achieve, or understand. The invitation is simply to arrive and allow experience to unfold.

About This Mini Retreat

Modern life often pulls attention upward and outward—into thinking, planning, and constant stimulation. Over time, this can leave us feeling ungrounded, tense, or disconnected from our bodies.

Reset & Root offers a slower rhythm. Through sound-supported rest, embodied awareness, and stillness, the body and nervous system are invited to soften and settle. Attention is gently drawn toward contact, weight, and internal sensation, supporting a sense of being held and supported.

Rather than guiding you toward a particular state, this retreat creates space for presence and regulation to arise naturally.

What to Expect

This mini retreat unfolds as a single, continuous process rather than a sequence of separate practices. All elements are offered invitationally, and you are free to rest, move subtly, or remain still at any point.

The session includes:

  • Arrival and settling into the body
  • Sound-supported rest to support nervous system easing
  • A warm cup of ceremonial cacao or herbal tea for gentle integration
  • Guided somatic attunement through subtle, intuitive movement or stillness
  • Sound-supported meditation and/or contemplation
  • A closing reflection circle, with the option to share or remain quiet

You are welcome to lie down, sit, adjust your position, or step back as needed throughout.

Exploring the Theme: Reset & Root

This retreat centres on grounding as a lived, internal experience.

Awareness is gently invited inward toward sensations of contact, weight, and support. Attention may naturally settle in the lower body—particularly the hips, legs, and feet—supporting a felt sense of connection with the ground and with gravity.

At times, awareness may be guided slowly through the body in a simple, spacious way, inviting sensations to be noticed without effort or analysis. The emphasis is on feeling embodied rather than thinking about the body, allowing regulation and steadiness to arise through direct experience.

Grounding here is not something to work toward, but something that can be sensed and allowed.

Who This Retreat Is For

You may find Reset & Root supportive if:

  • You feel ungrounded, scattered, or disconnected from your body
  • Your nervous system feels frequently activated or tense
  • Slowing down feels unfamiliar or uncomfortable
  • You spend much of your time “in your head” and long for more embodied presence
  • You feel depleted, burnt out, or overstimulated
  • You are seeking a gentle, non-verbal way to reconnect with yourself
  • You value depth and presence without instruction, performance, or pressure

No prior experience with meditation, sound, or somatic practices is required.

What This Retreat Supports

This mini retreat is not outcome-driven. Instead, it supports conditions that may include:

  • Increased nervous system ease and regulation
  • A felt sense of grounding and stability
  • Greater embodiment and presence
  • Reduced mental effort and over-activation
  • A softer transition into stillness and rest

Any shifts are welcomed as they arise, without expectation.
