🌿 Sound-Supported Meditation & Sound Bath 🌿

A grounding evening designed to support deep rest, embodied awareness, and nervous-system regulation through a combination of guided meditation and sound.

This session offers a steady, unhurried space to slow down, reconnect with the body, and settle beneath the noise of everyday thinking. Nothing is required of you other than to arrive and allow the experience to unfold.

Held in a small, carefully contained group, the emphasis is on safety, presence, and ease throughout.

✨ The Flow of the Evening

Opening & Arrival Through Sound (10 minutes)

We begin with gentle sound from Tibetan singing bowls and soft instruments. This opening phase is not performance-based, it is simply a way of helping the nervous system settle and supporting attention to arrive in the body.

You are invited to rest, listen, or simply notice experience as it is, without needing to engage or respond in any particular way.

Guided Meditation (Embodied Awareness Practice-30 minutes)

From this grounded place, you are guided into a meditation practice rooted in awareness, presence, and embodied attention.

Rather than aiming to change experience or reach a particular state, this practice supports you in noticing what is already present:

  • the natural rhythm of breath
  • sensations within the body
  • thoughts and emotional tone as they arise and pass

Attention is gently supported to rest with experience rather than resist it or shape it. There is no effort to “clear the mind” or achieve calm…calm is not the goal. Instead, the practice cultivates a steadier relationship with whatever is present.

At times, attention may be guided more specifically into the body or breath. At other times, it may be invited to rest more openly in awareness itself.

Sound Bath Journey (40 minutes)

The meditation then gives way to a gentle sound bath, using Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, chimes, drum, rainstick, native flute and other gentle instruments.

Sound is used here to support rest rather than stimulation. The vibrations offer the body a chance to soften, regulate, and drop into deeper states of relaxation.

You are not required to follow or interpret the sound, only to rest and receive.

Closing & Integration (10 minutes)

We close with a period of stillness and grounding to support integration. This allows the nervous system to gently orient back to the space and helps the experience settle into the body.

There is no expectation to share or reflect—silence is always welcome.

You are invited to leave feeling more grounded, spacious, and quietly resourced.

🌿 The Nature of This Practice

This is a non-performative, embodied approach to meditation.

There is nothing to fix, achieve, or improve. Instead, the practice supports:

  • resting awareness in direct experience
  • softening reactivity and mental over-effort
  • building trust in the body’s natural intelligence
  • relating to thoughts and emotions without resistance

Over time, this can support both nervous-system stability and a more spacious way of relating to experience in daily life.

🎶 The Role of Sound

Sound is used intentionally at the beginning and during the sound bath to support settling and ease.

Tibetan singing bowls and other instruments are played with space and restraint, allowing silence to remain an active part of the experience.

Once the sound bath concludes, the practice returns to stillness so that awareness can remain clear and undistracted.
