🌿 Grounding in Sound: A Meditation & Sound Bath Journey 🌿

In a world that often pulls us outward, this session is an invitation to return inward—into your body, your breath, and the steady ground beneath you. Through sound and guided embodiment practices, you’ll be supported to release tension, soften into presence, and reconnect with the deep roots of your being. This is a guided meditative experience to support you to embody the calming vibrations of the Tibetan bowls, chimes and the drum amongst other instruments. This embodiment practice will encourage you to increase your bodily and emotional awareness.

✨ The Flow of the Evening:

  • Embodied Sound Meditation: A gentle meditation combined with various sounds will guide you into your body, quiet the mind, and open a space of presence where your experience becomes more grounded and embodied.

  • Sound Bath: Immerse yourself in the soothing resonance of the Tibetan singing bowls, the delicate shimmer of kochi chimes, the earthiness of cha cha nuts, and the flowing rhythms of the rainstick and other instruments. Each vibration anchors you more deeply into yourself, helping you settle into a state of calm, safety, and balance.

  • Closing Body Scan: We’ll complete with a grounding body scan, ensuring that the spaciousness of sound is integrated into the body so you leave not only relaxed, but steady, rooted, and fully embodied.

  • Herbal Tea: Enjoy a hot cup of herbal tea to help relax and integrate your experience. In this time you may wish to share your experience with others or myself and ask any questions or spend your time journalling in your own quiet space. However you wish to spend this time is yours, but don’t forget to bring your journal or anything else you wish to do which will help you integrate this experience.

🎶 The Grounding Power of Tibetan Singing Bowls:
The bowls’ vibrations move through the body like ripples in water—helping release tension, soothe the nervous system, and create harmony within. Beyond relaxation, these sounds gently guide awareness down and in, connecting you back to your foundation and the earth beneath you.

🌱 Embodiment as Integration:
This practice is not about drifting away—it’s about arriving more fully. The meditation and closing body scan are designed to weave the spaciousness of sound into your lived experience, leaving you centered, grounded, and deeply connected to your body.

⚠️ A Gentle Note:
Sound baths are not recommended if you:

  • Have a pacemaker or other implanted medical device

  • Are in the first trimester of pregnancy

  • Experience sound-induced epilepsy or seizures

  • Are currently navigating severe, untreated mental health conditions

  • Anyone with a hearing aid may wish to remove them during the sound bath

If you are unsure, please check with your healthcare provider before attending.

Anything Else?

Just bring yourself and some water to keep you hydrated. Mats, cushions and blankets will be provided, although you are welcomed to bring your own if you prefer, and anything else that helps you feel comfortable and supported as you rest.

I look forward to seeing you there!
