🌿 Embodied Awareness- A Journey through the Five Koshas 🌿

Embodiment is the art of coming home to ourselves — of inhabiting the body as a living expression of consciousness. Through the practices of meditation and sound, we begin to sense the layers of our being with greater clarity. Each moment of awareness becomes a doorway into the truth of who we are beneath the surface of thought and form.

This class is suitable for beginners and seasoned meditators alike. Beginners benefit from the integration of sound into their practice which can encourage the mind to focus and quieten, supporting the meditator to reach deeper states of awareness and exploration. Seasoned meditators can begin to explore the stillness in the absence of sound, supporting a shift into non-dual awareness where boundaries can soften, offering an alternative exploration to a concentration practice alone.

You will be held, supported and received with gentleness and care with trauma-informed practices, suitable for complete beginners through to seasoned meditators.

✨ The Flow of the Evening:

The evening unfolds as a gentle journey inward — the subtle layers of body, breath, mind, wisdom, and spirit. We begin by arriving into the body with the awareness of breath and body. As the rhythm of breath deepens, we awaken the flow of energy within, guided by the soothing resonance of Tibetan and crystal bowls, the soft shimmer of rainstick and ocean drum, and the living vibration of sound. Through periods of guided and silent meditation, you are invited to rest in awareness — observing thoughts, emotions, and sensations as they naturally soften and release. The tones of native flute, the steady pulse of drum, rattles and chimes may accompany this journey, offering subtle support to the unfolding of inner stillness. Sound vibration weave through the space, attuning body and spirit to a deeper sense of balance and connection. As the practice draws toward stillness, awareness settles into the quiet joy of being — a spacious, grounded peace that radiates through every layer of the self.

The flow of sound and meditation will vary throughout the coming weeks, drawing on deeper exploration of either breath, body, emotions, thought or stillness, giving the meditator the openness to explore the koshas in more depth with a kind curiosity.
