Mindful mondays: a walk in nature

connecting with nature

As we explore nature together, in a small group, we will experience the senses through a range of mindful exercises. You will be guided through practices such as mindful walking and movement meditations, investigate thoughts and senses, and experiment with various practices to enhance your connection to your inner being and the world around you. We will visit different places of nature each week so be sure to check the location before you book. Be sure to arrive appropriately dressed for the weather and wear suitable footwear, and bring a flask or cold drink and a snack if you wish. The walks will be slow paced, with opportunities to rest and reflect on exercises and will usually last around 2 hours in total.

FAQ

Some of our frequently asked questions regarding our mindful walks are below. If there is anything that you would like to ask which is not not covered here, then please contact me via the contact page and I will do all I can to help.

You are welcome to bring a flask or a cold drink and snacks if you would like. There will be opportunities to rest and reflect. Be sure to dress appropriately and bring any rain gear or sun cream, dependent on the weather.

You are welcome to bring your dog if you need a support dog. However, please be aware that this is not a typical walking group, but rather a mindfulness class in nature. The practices are inwardly focused and self reflective and having to outwardly focus on your dog may become a distraction for not only yourself, but also others in the group. Please be mindful of others and yourself, if you feel bringing your dog is necessary for you and your sense of safety. The nature of these walks are based on internal enquiry and concentration.

The walks are slow paced with times for rest and reflection. Dependent on location, there may be steps and small hills which may not be suitable for those with certain disabilities and health issues. If you have any concerns or questions, please message me directly and I will do all I can to help.

If you have paid for a class and are unable to attend, then please get in touch as soon as possible and I will transfer your booking to an alternative class. Unfortunately, I am not able to give refunds once a booking has been made.
