SOUND BATH: A DEEP REST & GROUNDING EXPERIENCE
A spacious sound journey designed to support deep rest, nervous-system regulation, and embodied grounding.
This extended sound bath offers a slower, more immersive experience, allowing time for the body and mind to settle fully. Held in a small, carefully prepared space, the session is designed so you can rest without interruption and allow sound to work gently and naturally.
There is very little to do and nowhere to go, this is a space to lie down, be supported, and receive.
THE FLOW OF THE EVENING
OPENING SOUND MEDITATION
We begin with a short sound-led meditation to help you arrive in the space and settle your attention. Gentle tones from Tibetan singing bowls and soft instruments support the nervous system to slow down and guide awareness into the body.
This opening is simple and unhurried, offering a clear transition from the outer world into stillness.
EXTENDED SOUND BATH JOURNEY
From here, the sound bath unfolds gradually. Using Tibetan and crystal singing bowls, chimes, drum, rainstick, cha cha nuts, and other grounding instruments, sound is layered with spaciousness and silence.
The extended duration allows:
- deeper physical relaxation
- more complete nervous-system settling
- a sense of spacious rest without rush
- the body’s natural rhythms to reassert themselves
You are invited to rest in whatever way feels most supportive, lying down, shifting position, or simply listening as sound moves through and around you.
CLOSING GROUNDING PRACTICE
We close with a short grounding practice to help awareness return fully to the body. This supports integration, ensuring the depth of rest feels embodied and steady rather than distant or floaty.
You’ll leave feeling more anchored, present, and resourced.
WORKING WITH SOUND
Sound is used here as a primary support for rest and regulation. The vibrations of the instruments interact directly with the body, often supporting the release of held tension and a softening of mental activity.
There is no need to follow the sound or try to make sense of it. The invitation is simply to listen and allow.
A SMALL, SUPPORTED SPACE
To preserve a sense of safety and care, this session is limited to 10 participants.
Everything is prepared for you in advance, including:
- yoga mats
- soft blankets
- large velvet memory-foam cushions
- meditation cushions
The space is set slowly and intentionally, allowing you to arrive and settle without effort.
AFTER THE SESSION
We move slowly at the end of the evening. You are encouraged to take your time, hydrate, and allow the effects of the sound to continue integrating as you return to your evening.
A Gentle Note:
Sound baths are not recommended if you:
-
Have a pacemaker or other implanted medical device
-
Are in the first trimester of pregnancy
