Meditation & embodiment classes

meditation & embodiment classes

I welcome you to a meditation and embodiment class, a safe and welcoming space designed to nurture peace, relaxation and self awareness. Whether you are new to meditation or have years of experience, you’ll find a supportive environment allowing you to unwind and reconnect with yourself.

These classes aim at fostering a sense of safety, and a space for a personal experience of connectedness and belonging. Together, we will explore meditation, somatic awareness, embodiment and mindfulness through practices, contemplations, creativity and mindful conversation, offering the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and learn from each other. This truly is an intimate learning experience with a group of like-minded peers. Sessions will explore guided, seated and movement meditations, sound meditations with Tibetan bowls, art and journaling. You will be gently led through breathing exercises and somatic practices that help bring focus and calm to your mind and body. As you settle in, feel free to simply be as you are.

Meditation cushions, mats and chairs will be provided to ensure your comfort throughout each session.

This is a place to rest, reflect, and cultivate a deeper sense of inner peace.

I look forward to sharing this journey with you.

If you would like to know the weekly schedule and what will be explored in each upcoming session, then I welcome you to join the Facebook group here.

FAQ

A few frequently asked questions regarding the meditation classes are below. If there is anything that you want to ask that is not mentioned here, then please contact me using the contact form on the contact page and I will help as best I can.

If you have paid for a class and are unable to attend, then please get in touch as soon as possible and I will transfer your booking to an alternative class. Unfortunately, I am not able to give refunds for cancellations within 24 hours of a class.

Cushions, mats and chairs will be provided at all in-person venues. For online classes, you do not need any special equipment, for eg, meditation cushions, stools, mats etc, but you are welcome to use these if you have them. You can practice the meditation in whatever position feels comfortable for you, whether that is in a chair, sat on the floor, lay down or stood up. I encourage you to practice in whichever way works best for you.

Unfortunately, not all of the premises have access for those with limited mobility. My priority is to make my classes available for all, but sometimes this may not be possible. Each venue page will give details of access and facilities that are available.

These meditations are for everyone regardless of disability. My aim is to be inclusive of all people and where appropriate, I will offer alternatives for those who may find some exercises inaccessible. All meditations are designed to facilitate the comfort and safety of each individual. If at any time you feel that your needs have not been met, then please communicate this with me, as I endeavour to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Once you have booked your place on the class, I will send a unique link to your email inbox. Just click the link and it will bring you straight to the class.
